There is one simple quit smoking technique that works which I am very sure that we are not that aware of. This technique is based upon the fact that if we can change the way we think about the things we do and why we do them, we will be able to easily change the behavior causing us certain problems.

This technique applies problems such as social anxiety, addiction to heroin, alcohol, other addictive drugs, and many others including smoking. What we fail to realize is that smoking is more of a mental addiction than physical. We smoke based on triggers. Whenever we feel like it, we go ahead without even giving a single thought about it. That is the reason why we finds that most of us regularly smoke about 1 packet of cigarettes everyday whenever we have those triggers to smoke.

It is because our minds are already accustomed to it. If we find a man or woman who is smoking about 15 sticks of cigarettes everyday, it is because his/her mind is already accustomed to having a minimum of 15 sticks every single day. The truth is that the only way to completely quit the use of cigarettes is to get our mind off those pesky cigarettes that will do no good to us other than harm our health is a really big way. Once we are able to get our minds off those cigars, we will find it easier to abandon them without having any further cravings for them again.

In fact the more we are persistent in fighting to get our minds off those long sticks, the better and faster it becomes to totally abandon them. Even if we are smoking 5 packets of cigarettes every single day, it does not really matter. Once we are able to get our minds off, it becomes much easier to back down from having anymore of those long sticks. As easy as this might sound, it is a simple quit smoking technique that has been proven to work wonders.
